Making Real Changes

Living is easy! That is quite a statement. In the broadest sense this is true;, it's just being. What's difficult for most people is all the thinking that goes on while we're just being! This may seem like a simple observation but yet out of this thinking, results all the problems that each of us face every day.

There are no good or bad events in the world. This sounds like an absurd statement at first but it's true. There are just events. One person's hero is another person's terrorist; one person's favorite food is disgusting to someone else. Each event is simply what each of us says it is. There is an old saying, "Every golf shot make somebody happy". It all depends on what you want. If you are the one hitting the golf shot you want the ball to go straight down the fairway onto the green. If you are the opponent, you want the ball to go into the woods; into the water; anywhere but straight and certainly not on the green. The funny thing is, it's the same golf shot. Whether you like it or you don't like it depends only up on your perspective. In other words, what your beliefs and goals are determine your experience.

Where do the majority of our goals and beliefs come from? The majority of our beliefs come from our childhood when we were the most impressionable with the least amount of discernment. Studies have shown that prior to the age of five or six years old we spend most of our waking time in a brainwave state called alpha. This is the same brainwave state that we reach in the state of hypnosis. When our minds are in alpha we will retain and believe information from a source that we trust. The main input of this information is our parents, our brothers and sisters and our teachers. During these early stages of life what we experience makes a very strong imprint. The beliefs that our parents are passionate about are recorded as true in our minds. We store these beliefs in our subconscious mind and everything stored here is in fact true for us.

Each of us is creating all of the experiences that we have in our lives. Most people however, do not understand the mechanism. We do this through the use of our minds. We are aware of our conscious mind but that is only part of the equation. The majority of our thoughts and beliefs exist below the surface at the level of the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the powerhouse of the creative process. The combination of the subconscious mind and the conscious mind form a powerful magnetic force that draws into our lives all of the events we experience.

The easiest way to understand the relationship of the conscious mind to the subconscious mind is to think of an iceberg. Only a small part of the iceberg is visible above the surface of the water. The majority of the mass of ice is always submerged and out of sight. The ice below the surface is identical to the ice above the surface but is never seen. However, it has a tremendous effect. The same is true with the subconscious mind. All of our memories and beliefs are held in the subconscious mind. They are held there until the conscious mind request them. If we believe that we are smart we will feel a sense of confidence. If we believe that we are cowardly we will act in a cowardly way. Neither is true or untrue except to the extent that we believe it. Once an idea is accepted by the subconscious mind it cannot be changed until it is replaced by another idea at the level of the subconscious mind. This is why it is so easy to stay the same and yet can be very difficult to make changes in our lives as our desires and wants change. The subconscious is much like an automatic pilot on an airplane. Once of course is set the automatic pilot will make changes automatically to stay on course. The pilot may change the direction and altitude of the plane manually but if the automatic pilot is not reset once he takes his hands off the controls the airplane will return to the original setting course speed and altitude. The exact same thing happens within the subconscious mind. Anyone who has worked hard to lose weight, lost the weight and then gained all the weight back and then some will understand this principle.

Any lasting change in our lives must first be accomplished by changing belief systems at the level of the subconscious mind. Many if not most of our beliefs were first established and planted in the subconscious mind when we were children. From the time of our birth to about five or six years old, our minds operate primarily at a brainwave pattern called alpha. In computer language, this is the programming level. This is the same brainwave pattern that is established in the process of hypnosis. At this level of thought we are very impressionable. After the age of five or six our brains operate at much higher brainwave levels. This pattern is called beta. In beta, we are able to recall and reference belief systems and memories but we are unable to make changes to them. Many of us grew up with belief systems that do not serve us as adults. The easiest way to change these belief systems as adults is to use energetic processes like hypnosis Chakra Balancing or Reiki to clear away the old patterns and replace them with new thoughts, beliefs and ideas that are more aligned with our desires and goals today.

MRI and CAT Scans

MRI's and CAT Scans are an integral part of modern diagnostic procedures. They can provide valuable information on the integrity of internal structures in the human body. They are important resources for modern medical procedures and have proved to be more benefical and less physically damaging than traditional x-rays. They do however, have an amazing effect on the Life Force system, primarily the chakras.

A number of years ago a regular client of mine called one day and said she felt "off" and asked if she could see me that afternoon. As she walked into my office, I saw that she looked almost grey, a sign of exhaustion.

I had just seen her the week before and she was vibrant and bright. The first words out of my mouth upon seeing her were "What happened?!" She said she wasn't sure but told me she had had an MRI the day before and hadn't felt right since. When I measured the output of her chakras I found that they were collapsed and the energy flow through them was at the most meager levvels. I treated her and told her to call me the next day and let me know how she felt. The next morning she called and she sounded like her old optimistic self. She had slept well and she felt fine. The Life Force was apparently flowing and everything was back to normal.

I believe that the intense level of magnetic energy that she experienced during the procedure had traumatized the chakras which are very sensitive to magnetic energy. The resulting low levels of Life Force flow were responsible for her disorientation. Because there had been no real trauma to the body, I believe that her Life Force would have returned in time but it could have taken several days or even more. Every client that I saw after that who had an MRI or a CAT scan exhibited the same pattern, without exception. I believe that these procedures are safe and often very beneficial but that the temporary impact on the Life Force system is real and predicable.

Now as a matter of practice I recommend to all my clients to schedule an appointment with me the day after one of these procedures. Re-opening and balancing the Chakra System is easy and simple and it makes a helpful procedure even easier for the individual to recover from.

Depression

Depression is an epidemic in this country. A large portion of the population has either been on one or more antidepressant drugs at one time in their lives. Many people have been on these drugs for years. The original premise for the use of these drugs was to provide a temporary remedy for depression by allowing the natural bodily functions to recover. The intent was to then come off these drugs and to allow the body to resume it's natural balance. This doesn't seem to be the protocol today.

There are surely many causes for the syndrome called depression. I would like to address one possibility. In my experience, depression is often caused by the distortion and inefficient energy flow through the root and sacral chakras. When one or both of these centers are compromised, a person is very apt to experience a constant state of fear. These centers are responsible for the feelings of being grounded and balanced in life. In an attempt to minimize the feeling of fear, they often unknowingly and unconsciously contract these chakras to an even greater extent. The effort seems to work because they momentarily lose awareness of the fear but the actual cause of the fear is now greater. This strategy can only be repeated so many times before they are unable to contract these energy centers any further. At this point a sense of panic often results. They may have no other coping skills that they trust. At this point antidepressants may be employed with some temporary effect but the underlying energetic deficiency still remains.
Chakra Energization and Balancing has proved to be a valuable tool in restoring this energy and dissipating the fear that existed. I have witnessed this transformation many times over the years and the results have been sustained by learning new skills of dealing with the everyday obstacles of life.
If you or someone you love struggles with depression and attempts to find a solution have escaped you, this approach may hold promise for you.
